Unilever Acquires Tatcha

Prestige skin care brand founded in US has roots in Japanese diet and culture.

Unilever today announced it has signed an agreement to acquire skin care brand Tatcha, a brand founded in 2009 by Victoria Tsai in San Francisco with an innovation center in Japan known as the Tatcha Institute. The brand is distributed through prestige retailers predominantly in the US and has an outstanding social media and digital presence.
